Description

NC Power Systems is seeking a Power Generation Technician at our Tukwila, WA Branch. This key role involves diagnosing and performing repairs and installations on EPG and Industrial engines, including OEM and EPG preps, in the shop.

Essential Duties:

  • Diagnose, repair, and install industrial engines (including OEM and EPG)
  • Troubleshoot and inspect power generators, performing necessary repairs
  • Perform tear downs and cleanings
  • Order parts using Caterpillar parts ordering system (SIS)
  • Communicate with engineering, end-users, customers, and team members
  • Complete administrative paperwork, including service reports

Qualifications & Experience Needed:

  • Degree in Diesel Technology preferred
  • 2+ years of generator or CAT industrial engine experience
  • Own tools required
  • Valid driver’s license required and must be maintained
