Job summary

Worldwide Power Products is seeking a Level II Technician in Houston, TX to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain diesel and natural gas generators from 20 kW to 2 MW. The role includes field service, diagnostics, and reporting, with a clear path for growth through structured training and promotions.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of related experience, is proficient with basic electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, and holds a valid Texas driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of related field experience.
• Graduation from technical/maintenance training preferred.
• Valid Texas driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic preventive maintenance and assist others with more advanced tasks.
• Diagnose and repair gas or diesel engines and generators.
• Load bank testing and related electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.
• Document service reports, PM checklists and timecards accurately.
• Travel to customer sites and provide detailed reports upon completion.
