Qualifications
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain diesel and natural gas generators and engines 20 kW to 500 kW.
- Identify, troubleshoot, diagnose, and provide quality repairs of generator systems and related engine failures.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance and assist others with intermediate tasks.
- Travel to job sites and document service reports and timecards with detail.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic preventive maintenance and assist others in intermediate and advanced corrective maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose basic to intermediate engine and generator problems and recommend repairs.
- Replace batteries, belts, hoses, and perform oil/filter changes.
- Complete service reports, PM checklists and timecards accurately for accounting.
- Travel to job sites, load parts, and provide detailed reports upon completion.
- Assist with Level II Technician training and supervision.
