Job summary

Current Electric/Advanced Energy Systems seeks a dedicated Generator Technician to service and repair automatic standby generators. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, perform preventive maintenance, and maintain accurate field records in a dynamic, safety-conscious environment.

The role requires 1–3 years in small-engine service, experience with backup generators, and proficiency with testing equipment, hand tools, and electrical diagrams.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience servicing and repairing small engines.
• 1+ years of experience with maintaining and servicing backup generators.
• Ability to use electrical testing equipment, hand tools, blueprints, and electrical diagrams.
• Excellent troubleshooting, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work and work overtime when needed.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
