Generac Power Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled Generator Technician to install, maintain, and repair generators to ensure a reliable power supply for clients. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and technical problem-solving on-site.

The successful candidate will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, replace defective parts, and test repairs. A valid driver's license and experience with generators are preferred, with opportunities to contribute to upgrades and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and reading technical schematics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools up to 50 lbs.
• Capable of working in various environmental conditions.
• Valid Driver's License.
• 2+ years working with generators preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on generators, including oil changes, filter replacements, and system checks.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot generator malfunctions and failures
• Replace or repair defective parts and components as needed.
• Test and verify repairs to ensure proper operation.
• Conduct regular inspections of generators and associated systems to identify potential issues.
• Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports and recommendations.
• Offer recommendations for upgrades or replacements as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of all service activities, including repairs, maintenance, and parts used.
• Complete and submit service reports in a timely manner.
• Participate in on-call rotations for emergency repairs

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair ofgeneratorsto ensure reliable power supply for our clients. This role requirestechnical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

What you'll do:
