Job description

A Snapshot of Your Day

Responsible for learning all operations of Stator Assembler B. Become familiar with all tools and equipment for generator final assembly. Attain skills for rotor to core assembly, bearings, pedestals, and all other parts assembled on the generator.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Sound knowledge in the use of mathematics, interpreting complex drawings, specifications, and use of various precision machining instruments.
  • Experience with live head drilling/milling is an asset.
What You Bring
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • 4 or more years of industrial-mechanical experience. Proficiency with shop tools such as drills, ratchets, wrenches, etc., and ability to choose the optimal tool for the task.
  • Ability to lift/move 50 lb. materials, use precision measuring equipment, basic math skills, and complete simple forms.
  • Must pass hearing, vision, and pulmonary tests. Ability to obtain a forklift license and an 'A' crane license if needed.
