Job summary

Atlas Energy Solutions is seeking an entry-level Shop Assistant to support the shop team by thoroughly cleaning generators before and after major repairs, assisting with basic disassembly and reassembly, and maintaining an organized and safe yard and shop environment.

No prior generator experience is required; on-the-job training will be provided. Forklift operation may be involved, and a valid driver’s license is required to work in the US.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• No prior experience or mechanical knowledge needed; on-the-job training provided.
• Forklift experience is a plus, but training will be provided.
• Hand tool experience is required.
• Must be able to stay focused, work independently, and follow detailed instructions.
• Excellent attention to detail and cleanliness; strong communication with coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly pressure wash generators inside and out.
• Remove guards and perform light disassembly for cleaning.
• Safely operate a forklift to move generators and equipment.
• Keep yard and shop areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow work instructions with limited supervision and attend safety meetings.
• Report incidents and unsafe conditions to supervisor; follow company policies.
• Assist with any task requested by the supervisor; other duties as assigned.
