Job summary

Woodfin – Your Home Team is seeking a Generator Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair and install mechanical and electrical components of air- and liquid-cooled generator sets. The role includes on-site mobile service, warranty work, and load testing to ensure reliable standby power up to 150KW.

You will read wiring diagrams, troubleshoot AC/DC systems, and document work while delivering strong customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred trade school training.
• Experience with generator maintenance and electrical troubleshooting preferred.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and diagnose failures using diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on standby generator systems up to 150KW.
• Test, troubleshoot, and repair automatic transfer switches and controls.
• Perform start-ups on new equipment with load testing and warranty work as needed.
• Provide accurate documentation of services performed and manage parts inventory.
• Work a rotating on-call service schedule; perform other duties as needed.

Who We’re Hiring:Woodfin-Your Home Team is seeking a skilled Generator Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair and install both mechanical and electrical components of air-cooled and liquid-cooled generator sets and/or related equipment.
