Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Generator rebuild and HVAC Technician in Kuwait. The role supports 3kW–150kW generators and HVAC systems for U.S. Army operations, performing overhauls, diagnostics and on-site maintenance.

You will troubleshoot AC/DC systems, repair control panels, and fabricate wiring harnesses. Requires Secret clearance eligibility and prior generator experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher with required years of related experience.
• BA/BS with required years experience or AA/AS with more years experience.
• EPA 608 Technician Certification required or to be obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform overhaul, maintenance and sustainment on generators from 3kW to 150kW including engine, main gen, and control panel work.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair AC/DC systems and electrical wiring.
• Repair HVAC systems, Chillers, Environmental Control Units (ECUs) and related equipment.
• Operate test equipment such as Load bank and dynometer; fabricate wire harnesses as needed.
