D2B Groups in Midland, TX is seeking skilled technicians at mid and senior levels to support generator service for gas and diesel engines. You can work in the shop or in the field, choosing a schedule that fits your life and traveling or relocating as needed.

Qualifications

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair natural gas and diesel engines, generator sets, and related power systems.
• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, oil sampling, component replacement, and ATS work.
• Use diagnostic software and service tools (SIS, ET, and related systems).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair natural gas and diesel engines, generator sets, and related power systems.
• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, oil sampling, component replacement, and ATS work.
• Use diagnostic software and service tools (SIS, ET, and related systems).
• Complete jobs within standardtimes while keeping comebacks to a minimum.
• Document work accurately: work orders, parts orders, job safety analyses, and service reports.
• Communicate clearly with customers, service coordinators, and parts staff; provide accurate repair quotes when needed.
• Follow all safety, contamination control, and HAZMAT procedures on every job.
• Hands-on experience as a generator technician and expereicne with large commercial and industrial units
• Working knowledge of gas and/or diesel engines and their supporting systems.
• Your own tools appropriate to your level.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to qualify to drive a company vehicle.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed and, for rotational roles, to travel and stay on site for the full hitch.
