Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or related field. MSME is a plus.
- Experience in design, analysis, and/or maintenance of rotating machinery; power generation industry preferred.
- Strong CAD/CAE fundamentals, GD&T knowledge, and CAE experience.
Responsibilities
- Execute engineering optimization studies interfacing with manufacturing engineering and supply management.
- Contribute to the conceptional, basic and detailed design of Large Electric Generators for service and new apparatus.
- Perform complex analytical studies of generator components using ANSYS or similar codes.
- Prepare detailed product definitions including CAD models, drawings and BOMs.
- Support design reviews and release engineering information for manufacturing and service repair.
