Innodata Inc. is seeking a Generative AI Associate to join our SME on Demand network on a part-time, remote basis with flexible hours. This role supports the training and evaluation of AI models from anywhere in the United States.

You will label data, generate training examples, and help evaluate model outputs, shaping the future of AI development on your own schedule. A humanities background and strong English skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in humanities required.
• Advanced degrees strongly preferred (Master's or PhD).
• Professional or Expert level proficiency in English (C1/C2).

Responsibilities

• Rating/assessing the performance of AI models or algorithms based on their output or behavior using evaluative questions.
• Labeling elements of content rather than the content as a whole.
• Assigning predefined categories or labels to items.
• Evaluating the perceived quality and/or appropriateness of content.
• Generating labels to advance understanding of a concept, trend, or example.
• Creating additional training data through transformations (text, images, audio/video) to diversify datasets.
• Reviewing data to ensure features align with project guidelines.
• Labeling model outputs to identify content relevance or quality (e.g., clickbait, branded content).
• Ordering or ranking items based on specified criteria.
• Creating prompts for language models or AI systems.
• Generating responses to prompts or questions using a language model.
• Rewriting existing text to improve clarity and adherence to guidelines.
• Producing concise summaries of longer texts or data.
• Converting spoken language to written text and translating between languages.
• Gathering and compiling data for training, evaluation, or fine-tuning AI models.
