Innodata Inc. is seeking a Generative AI Specialist to join as a part-time, remote SME contributor. This flexible, project-based role supports language and reasoning tasks to help train and evaluate AI models.

Ideal candidates are writers, linguists, educators, or researchers who want to shape AI development on their own schedule. You’ll assess AI model outputs, label content, and help generate training data across languages and formats.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in humanities is required.
• Professional or Expert level proficiency (C1/C2) in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Rating and assessing the performance of AI models or algorithms.
• Labeling elements of content.
• Assigning predefined categories or labels to items.
• Evaluating content quality and appropriateness.
• Generating labels to advance understanding of concepts and trends.
• Creating training data by transforming data (text, images, audio/video).
• Reviewing data to ensure features work as intended per guidelines.
• Labeling model outputs to identify content type (e.g., clickbait, branded content).
• Ordering or ranking items based on criteria.
• Creating prompts for language models.
• Generating responses to prompts from a language model.
• Rewriting text to improve clarity while preserving meaning.
• Producing concise summaries of longer content.
• Transcribing spoken language to written text.
• Translating text or speech between languages.
• Gathering diverse data for AI model training and evaluation.
