Job summary
Priceline is seeking a software engineer to design and develop generative AI-powered experiences for travel tasks. You will work in a hybrid environment in New York, collaborating with engineers, UX designers, and product managers to deliver intuitive AI solutions.
You will transform complex AI models into user-friendly interfaces, participate in critical projects, and help implement scalable, low-latency services while embracing continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 1+ year of software engineering experience.
- Strong UX principles and user-centered design.
- Hands-on experience with applied generative AI development using Langchain, Vercel AI, Mastra AI, Spring-AI or model provider APIs.
- Knowledge or experience with GraphQL is a strong bonus.
- Experience with Docker and cloud environments (GCP/AWS) is nice to have.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate in cross-functional agile team to build AI-driven features.
- Develop low-latency, high-throughput services with CI and automated testing.
- Design and implement Generative AI solutions for user tasks.
- Translate business needs into effective AI-powered UI components.
- Stay ahead of AI and UX trends to keep Priceline competitive.
- Troubleshoot performance and optimization issues as needed.
