Belcan Corporation in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Generative AI Software Developer/Engineer for a 12-month, on-site assignment. You will join the ART Aerospace Technologies Development Sandbox to design and develop next-generation avionics using Generative AI and related ML methods.

The role requires strong software skills, Python, Unix/Linux, full-stack development, and experience deploying Generative AI applications.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen required.
• Strong software development experience.
• Proficient in Unix/Linux.
• Proficient in Python.
• Proficient in Full Stack Development.
• Proven execution skills in complex systems.
• Ability to communicate clearly to large audiences.
• Understanding of AI/ML fundamentals.
• Experience deploying Generative AI powered applications.
• Experience with LLM development frameworks (e.g. LangChain, Haystack).

Responsibilities

• Develop, design and conclude experiments to accelerate Generative AI capabilities for safety-critical development.
• Be obsessively passionate, inquisitive, and seek to solve everyday problems in innovative ways.
• Collaborate and provide technical guidance across multiple sub-projects.
