Job summary

Sustainable Talent, in partnership with Nvidia, seeks a Generative AI Security Engineer for a Santa Clara, CA-based role with remote/hybrid options. You will join NVIDIA’s team focusing on AI Safety for LLMs, data science, and robust security measures.

Responsibilities include datasets, SFT/RL techniques, bias detection, and metrics for safe model behavior, with collaborative work across engineers and researchers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of ML Engineer/Deep Learning Scientist experience delivering ML solutions.
• Strong Python skills with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Proficient in data manipulation and visualization with NumPy and pandas.
• Knowledge of ML algorithms, statistics, and data structures.
• Familiar with Git and software development practices.
• Strong problem solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop datasets and moderator models for evaluating LLMs and end-to-end safety systems.
• Create training data with SFT and RL for safety, fairness, and security.
• Research bias detection and mitigation in LLMs and systems.
• Define metrics for responsible LLM behavior and usage.
• Follow automation, monitoring, scalability, and safety best practices.
• Contribute to repositories and build safety tools for ML teams.
• Data preprocessing and analysis with collaboration from data scientists/engineers.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover insights and improve model performance.
• Collaborate with product engineers, data scientists, analysts to translate requirements into ML solutions.
