Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise seeks a Software Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team building secure, scalable enterprise products powered by Generative AI and large language models. You will oversee AI platforms, React-based experiences, AWS cloud, and quality engineering in a hybrid setup with time in an HPE office.

You will mentor engineers, align execution with product strategy, and drive rapid experimentation through production-scale delivery while upholding strict governance

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or related discipline.
• 15+ years of industry experience, with 5+ years in people management.

Responsibilities

• People and organizational leadership: Build and grow an inclusive engineering team with clear ownership.
• Translate customer and product needs into roadmaps, staffing plans, milestones, and releases.
• Enable rapid feedback, disciplined prioritization, risk management, and transparent reporting.
• Support fast experimentation and transition ideas to secure, production-ready products.
• Guide architecture and set expectations for quality, security, testing, and CI/CD.
• Ensure governance, privacy, service reliability, and operational excellence.
• Coordinate across product, engineering, security, and business leaders with clear decision processes.
• Align engineering investments with customer value and reusable platform capabilities.
