Job summary

Apple is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to AI/ML and Generative AI services across hardware product teams. You will build scalable infrastructure and pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver cutting-edge AI capabilities at Apple’s scale.

The role focuses on writing maintainable code, researching new ML techniques, and presenting progress to leadership. Strong communication and OO programming experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years professional software engineering experience in Python or other OO languages.
• Demonstrated ability to write applications in high-level languages (Python, Ruby, Java, etc.).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality code that’s testable, scalable, and maintainable.
• Collaborate across teams to translate requirements into action plans.
• Research new ML/AI techniques and apply them to customer problems.
• Build scalable infrastructure platforms for ML workflows.
• Lead design reviews, author docs, and provide feedback on designs.
