Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Generative AI/ML Intelligent Document Processing Engineer to join the IDP organization. This role focuses on designing, developing, and supporting IDP solutions that automate handling of complex business documents using Tungsten/Kofax, C#, .NET, SQL, and Azure.

The ideal candidate has hands-on IDP production experience and a passion for applying modern AI technologies to enterprise workflows, with collaboration across business lines and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Tungsten (Kofax) or IDP platform experience.
• Experience building/maintaining IDP solutions.
• Experience with document extraction, classification, workflow automation, and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support IDP solutions using Tungsten/Kofax or similar.
• Develop and maintain applications using C#/.NET and SQL technologies.
• Build solutions focused on document extraction, classification, workflow automation, and business process optimization.
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into enterprise applications.
• Utilize Azure technologies and cloud platforms for scalable delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Support production applications, troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-driven automation across lines.
• Contribute to Generative AI and IDP initiatives to improve efficiency.
