Job summary

Refocus LLC is seeking a skilled AI Engineer to develop and integrate Generative AI applications using LLMs and AI APIs. You will experiment with prompts, tool calling, and AI agents, while writing clean Python code and ensuring high-quality results.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business needs into AI-powered solutions and continuously improve performance and reliability of AI systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong programming fundamentals, preferably in Python.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Willingness to learn new AI technologies and frameworks quickly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate Generative AI apps using LLMs and AI APIs.
• Experiment with prompt engineering, structured outputs, tool calling, and AI agents.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested Python code.
• Evaluate LLM responses for accuracy, relevance, reliability, and consistency.
• Debug and improve AI application performance.
• Stay up to date with emerging Generative AI tools, frameworks, and best practices.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and other teams to convert business requirements into AI-powered solutions.
