Job summary

BlackCube Labs is seeking an experienced AI Specialist III to design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications that generate code, data pipelines, and web apps from prompts. You will work with generative AI, LLMs, and agentic AI, applying strong software engineering practices to build maintainable, scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate collaborates with business stakeholders, explores new AI tech, optimizes models, and mentors junior engineers while maintaining alignment with AI policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 8 years of equivalent professional experience.
• 6–8 years of software engineering experience.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience implementing generative AI solutions.
• Strong Python skills and ability to learn new frameworks quickly.
• Hands-on experience building AI agents using Bedrock.
• Solid software engineering principles and modular design.
• Experience writing maintainable, testable code.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain apps that generate code, pipelines, and web apps with generative AI.
• Integrate AI solutions to improve operations and customer experience.
• Apply software design principles for clean, scalable code.
• Build AI agents, including Bedrock-based solutions.
• Experiment with LLM-based agentic tech to enhance capabilities.
• Use unit testing frameworks to ensure quality and reliability.
• Optimize AI models for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Develop solutions aligned with established AI policies.
• Research emerging tech including blockchain and quantum computing.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members.
