Job summary

Agentic AI in the Bay Area (Hybrid) is seeking a Senior AI Product Engineer to design, build, and ship production-grade agentic AI systems used directly by customers. You will own the full lifecycle from concept through deployment and scale.

You’ll work with Python and/or TypeScript, leverage LLMs and RAG, and collaborate with Product and Design to create measurable business impact. This is a high-impact role with stock-based RSUs and clear influence on AI strategy during a growth phase.

Qualifications

• Production experience shipping customer-facing AI agents.
• Strong software engineering foundations (backend or full-stack).
• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Experience with LLMs, RAG, agentic workflows, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship production‑grade agentic AI systems used directly by customers.
• Own the full agent lifecycle — prompting, orchestration, evaluation, debugging, iteration, and optimization.
• Build end‑to‑end solutions across Python and/or TypeScript, collaborating with Product and Design teams.
• Create intelligent workflows leveraging LLMs, RAG, and agent frameworks to solve complex customer problems.
• Develop evaluation frameworks and feedback loops to ensure reliability and measurable impact.
• Help shape the technical direction of AI across the platform.

Build production AI agents that redefine how enterprise companies achieve compliance.

Our client is a leading SaaS platform helping thousands of companies automate security, compliance, and risk management workflows. Having established a dominant position in the SMB market, they’re now scaling into enterprise and making a significant investment in AI as a core pillar of their product strategy.

This isn’t about AI copilots, chatbots, or internal tools. The team is building customer‑facing agentic systems that can reason, take action, and help organizations achieve compliance outcomes autonomously. You’ll join a small, high‑impact engineering team with ownership from concept through production.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and ship production‑grade agentic AI systems used directly by customers
• Own the full agent lifecycle — prompting, orchestration, evaluation, debugging, iteration, and optimization
• Build end‑to‑end solutions across Python and/or TypeScript, working closely with Product and Design partners
• Create intelligent workflows leveraging LLMs, RAG, and agent frameworks to solve complex customer problems
• Develop evaluation frameworks and feedback loops to ensure reliability, quality, and measurable business impact
• Help shape the technical direction of AI across the wider platform

What We’re Looking For

• Production experience building and shipping customer‑facing AI agents
• Strong software engineering foundations (backend or full‑stack)
• Python and/or TypeScript expertise
• Experience with LLMs, RAG, agentic workflows, and evaluation frameworks
• Ability to take ownership from idea through deployment and scale
• Startup mentality with a bias for speed, execution, and customer impact

Nice to Have

• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar ecosystems
• Background working with enterprise SaaS products
• Experience in compliance, security, governance, or risk‑related domains
