Apple Cambridge, MA is seeking data scientists and engineers to help build the next generation of generative AI applications. You’ll work on ambitious projects with a focus on large language models, safety, robustness, and uncertainty.

As part of the HCMI/Responsible AI group, you’ll develop evaluation datasets, design experiments, and partner with engineering on core ML algorithms and systems used in products. This role requires strong SQL/Spark and Python/R/Scala skills.

Qualifications

• Strong programming skills with SQL and Spark; scripting in Python, R, or Scala.
• Proficiency in data science, ML, analytics, statistics and A/B testing.
• Ability to translate business questions into data analyses.
• Experience with crowd-sourced, language, image, or multi-modal data.

Responsabilités

• Research Responsible AI evaluation methods to improve product quality.
• Create evaluation datasets and solve non-routine analysis problems.
• Build and prototype large-scale analytics pipelines.
• Develop knowledge of data structures and metrics for product development.
• Collaborate closely with engineering on ML algorithms and systems.
