Qualifications

• Graduate of the AIM program or an AI-focused CMU program.
• Proficiency in Python and LLM system engineering.
• Experience with virtual machines and computing environments (Linux, AWS, GCP).
• Ability to communicate with students and present materials regularly.
• Experience designing LLM evaluations and working with LLM APIs.
• Ability to work independently with faculty supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage software, data and AI model compliance with applicable policies.
• Establish and maintain shared compute resources for AI model work.
• Develop course assignments to teach Generative AI model development and operations.
• Translate Python-based assignments into LLM Agent equivalents.
• Collaborate with faculty to align assignments with course objectives.
• Maintain documentation of decisions and code structure.
• Assist in testing and validating translated assignments for correctness.
