Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect to design and implement world-class cloud solutions for enterprise customers in the San Francisco area. You will collaborate with AWS Sales and other teams to address business challenges and accelerate AWS adoption.

You will develop technical roadmaps for generative AI workloads, build executive relationships, and contribute to customer-facing publications while traveling up to 20%.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 4+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in architectural and design discussions to create world-class solutions on AWS for deployment in the cloud.
• Build relationships with senior technical stakeholders to enable cloud advocacy.
• Author and contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers and proofs of concepts.
• Partner with sales to formulate and execute a strategy to exceed revenue objectives through AWS adoption.
• Design and implement generative AI architectures across enterprise systems using AWS services like Bedrock, SageMaker, and Q.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solutions architect community.
• Develop strategic roadmaps and implementation plans for generative AI solutions aligned with customer goals and existing architectures.
• Travel is expected to be 20%.
