Job summary

Deloitte in Houston, TX seeks an Oracle Generative AI Architect Manager to translate business needs into scalable AI solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. You will drive automation, insights, and efficiency using enterprise AI platforms and cutting-edge tools.

You will lead design of generative AI capabilities, governance, security, and integration with Oracle apps, mentoring delivery teams and guiding pilots to realize measurable business value. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS/IT/Software engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in enterprise architecture with 2+ years in AI/ML or generative AI solution architecture.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services including Generative AI Service, Functions, API Gateway, Data Science, Autonomous Database, and Oracle Integration Cloud.
• Experience designing solutions with LLMs, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation, multi-agent systems, and integrations with enterprise applications.
• Security, compliance, governance in cloud environments; proficient in Python, SQL, REST APIs, and cloud-native patterns.
• Willingness to travel ~50% and open to immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and align enterprise AI architecture on OCI, focusing on generative AI and Oracle apps.
• Architect and deliver integrated AI solutions, including agentic workflows and retrieval-augmented generation pipelines.
• Define and enforce governance, security, compliance, and architecture standards for AI/ML initiatives.
• Identify high-value AI use cases and guide teams on prompt engineering, model selection, and optimization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, mentor delivery teams, lead technical reviews, and support pilot deployments delivering business outcomes.
