Job summary

Plymouth Rock Assurance seeks an AI Engineer to design and build Generative and Agentic AI systems that transform how we operate and serve customers. You will develop LLM-powered applications, RAG pipelines, MCP servers, and multi-modal agentic platforms across the enterprise.

The role requires strong Python expertise, experience with AI/ML tools, and production-grade AI systems development. You will collaborate with technology, data, and business teams to drive efficiency and innovation.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in CS, AI, ML, math or related field.
• 2+ years software engineering experience with ML/AI systems.
• Hands-on experience building LLM-powered production applications.
• Strong Python programming skills and AI packages (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, Scikit-learn).
• Experience with LLM ecosystems and agents (LangChain, Hugging Face, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy scalable LLM-powered applications and digital products.
• Develop AI agents and agentic platforms for multi-step workflows.
• Implement RAG architectures and pipelines using proprietary data.
• Build MCP servers and multi-modal Agentic platforms to support teams and customers.
• Integrate AI/ML solutions with enterprise APIs and data platforms.
• Design prompt strategies, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails for accuracy and security.
• Develop MLOps/LLMOps pipelines for monitoring and improvement.
• Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams to deliver scalable AI solutions.
