Job summary

Georgia Power is seeking a strategic leader to guide the integration of new generation assets and to shape reliability and maintenance strategies across the fleet.

As Manager, Generation Strategy & Support, you will partner with Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Supply Chain to drive cross-functional alignment, asset performance, and long-term value. This role offers high impact in a large, customer-focused utility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Analytics or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive experience supporting electric generation or asset-intensive operations.
• Established track record of leadership and enterprise-wide influence.
• Ability to align stakeholders and achieve objectives across organizations.
• Experience in asset management, maintenance strategy, reliability, or performance improvement.
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the integration of new and emerging generation assets into the fleet with readiness and long-term performance.
• Develop asset lifecycle, maintenance, and reliability strategies (preventive, predictive, condition-based).
• Establish governance frameworks, decision processes, and change management practices.
• Develop multi-year maintenance roadmaps aligned with outages and resources.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain, OEMs and stakeholders for alignment.
• Oversee long-term service agreements and strategic contracts for value realization.
• Engage with co-owners and external partners through governance forums and coordination.
• Develop executive-level reports and performance insights for strategic decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement through standardization and accountability.
