Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association, Inc. in Westminster, CO is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (Generation) to lead strategic projects, manage engineering analyses, and oversee capital and O&M initiatives across generation facilities.

You will develop scopes, schedules, budgets, and contract specifications while coordinating external partners and internal stakeholders. The role includes travel up to 30% and requires a PE license or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or other engineering from an accredited program.
• Professional Engineering License is preferred.
• Eight or more years of progressive experience in generating plant design and construction work.
• Willingness to travel up to 30 percent of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction on assigned projects.
• Perform engineering analyses of process systems at generation facilities.
• Conceive and develop project scopes, schedules, justifications, and budgets for capital and O&M projects.
• Conduct or coordinate engineering design of capital improvement projects for generation facilities.
• Prepare technical specifications for proposals and coordinate the development of contract documents.
• Provide project management during the implementation of plant betterment tasks.
