Job summary

Constellation is seeking a senior communications leader to guide executive communications, media relations and stakeholder engagement across multiple generation sites in the U.S. The role focuses on crisis communications, strategic messaging, and cross-functional collaboration with Government Affairs and Operations.

The role requires strong writing and presentation skills, a track record in corporate communications, and the ability to manage reputational risk and urgent issues in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or related field and 8+ years of experience, or 12+ years in lieu of degree.
• 8+ years of experience in communications, journalism or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication with cross-functional collaboration experience.
• Ability to build relationships with team members, stakeholders and executives.
• Experience in energy or utilities industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary communications advisor to assigned sites and business leaders.
• Develop and execute strategic communications plans that advance business priorities.
• Counsel leaders on messaging, employee communications, stakeholder engagement and reputational risk.
• Anticipate issues and develop proactive communication strategies and response plans.
• Build and maintain relationships with local, regional and trade media; develop media strategies.
• Represent Communications in cross-functional planning for major projects and milestones.
• Coordinate with regional teams to ensure site employee communications.
• Support Emergency Response Organization and serve in communications roles during drills and events.
• Back up Generation Communications leadership as needed.
