The Division of Academic Specialists in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Senior Instructor or above.

The successful candidate will serve as a generalist in obstetrics and gynecology, providing comprehensive clinical care, including inpatient and outpatient services, as well as gynecologic surgery.

Qualifications

• Board-eligible OBGYN or board-certified OBGYN
• Colorado Medical License
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Leadership/educational responsibilities in academic medicine

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology clinical care (inpatient and outpatient)
• Perform gynecologic surgery as needed
• Participate in night, weekend, and holiday call schedules
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows

Job Summary

The Division of Academic Specialists in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Senior Instructor or above. The successful candidate will serve as a generalist in obstetrics and gynecology, providing comprehensive clinical care, including inpatient and outpatient services, as well as gynecologic surgery. Responsibilities include participation in night, weekend, & holiday call schedules to meet the division's needs. This role emphasizes clinical excellence while also contributing to the teaching and mentoring of medical students, residents, and fellows in a dynamic academic environment.

Work Location

Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO.

Senior Instructor

Assistant Professor

• * Board-certified OBGYN


• * Colorado Medical License


• * 2-4 years of clinical OBGYN experience post-residency


• * Current BLS and ACLS certifications


• * Meets criteria for Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine

Associate Professor

• * Board-certified OBGYN


• * Colorado Medical License


• * 5-7 years of clinical OBGYN experience


• * Current BLS and ACLS certifications


• * Meets criteria for Associate Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine

Professor

• * Board-certified OBGYN


• * Colorado Medical license


• * Ten (10) years or more of clinical OBGYN experience


• * Current BLS and ACLS certifications


• * 5-7 years of leadership experience in clinical operations


• * Experience as a clinical educator


• * Meets criteria for Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine

Anticipated Pay Range

The hiring range for this position has been established as:

• Senior Instructor $260,000-$280,000


• Assistant Professor $280,000-$300,000


• Associate Professor $310,000-$330,400


• Professor $330,400-$350,000
