Job summary

HD Supply is seeking an HR Generalist to support a fast-paced, complex operation at the Burlington facility. This role partners closely with associates and leaders to deliver staffing, compensation, benefits, learning, and performance management.

The incumbent will ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures, acting as a liaison to other departments and HR experts while supporting a 6AM-4PM early shift schedule with flexibility for business needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years HR Generalist experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or distribution environments.
• Strong background in employee relations, workplace investigations, and employee engagement.
• Proficiency in MS Suite, Workday and UKG WFM.

• Administer core HR programs including staffing, associate relations, compensation, benefits, performance management, and learning.
• Develop and recommend solutions to various HR issues.

We’re seeking an HR Generalist to support a fast‑paced, complex operation, partnering closely with associates and leaders at our Burlington facility.

Must be willing to support an early shift schedule: Monday‑Friday 6AM-4PM (with flexibility to accommodate business needs)

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years HR Generalist experience within Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or Distribution environments

• Strong background in employee relations, workplace investigations, and employee engagement

• Proficiency in MS Suite, Workday and UKG WFM

• Self‑motivated, collaborative HR professional with strong communication skills, high energy, and the confidence to work independently or within a team; skilled at influencing leadership, upholding policies, and engaging effectively in customer‑facing environments.

Job Summary

Nature and Scope

• Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data.
• Nature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual, complex problems or issues. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by a supervisor and/or direct customers of the process.
• May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support or professional personnel.

Work Environment

• Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
• Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
• Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.

Education and Experience

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.
