Waterford Public Schools has an immediate vacancy for a team-oriented individual. Waterford Public Schools is seeking a General Worker for Food Services Department.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 pm.

Waterford Public Schools serves approximately 2,400 students in grades PK-12.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), previous experience with relevant institutional cooking experience desired.
• Knowledge and skills in large quantity food handling, preparation and cooking.
• Familiarity with public school breakfast and lunch programs desirable.
• Completion of State, Department of Education, School Food Service Statewide Training Program or equivalent preferred.
