Job summary

North Hills School District in Pittsburgh is seeking a part-time General Worker for Middle School building. Schedule: 9:15 AM to 1:15 PM on student instructional days (approx. 180 days per year).

• Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and lift up to 50 lbs.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED;
• Act 34, 151, 114 Clearances for successful candidate;
• Prior Food Service experience preferred;
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals; ability to speak effectively before students and staff;
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure;
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing;
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel and occasionally lift, carry and/or push/pull up to 50 lbs.
