Job summary

Lineage is hiring a General Warehouse Worker (Order Selector) in Baltimore. You will operate electric pallet jacks and voice-directed systems to build and prepare customer orders for shipment.

The role involves stacking pallets over 5 feet tall, shrink-wrapping, labeling, and maintaining inventory accuracy during daily warehouse tasks. The position requires at least 1 year of pallet jack experience, the ability to lift 60 lbs, and English fluency for voice commands.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating electric pallet jack equipment (ride-along preferred; single and double)
• Ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs / 27 kgs
• Ability to understand instructions in English
• Ability to give voice commands in English for voice-directed picking systems
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Operate electric pallet jack ride-along equipment to pick, build, and transport customer orders
• Perform required pre-use safety inspections on electric pallet jacks and other material handling equipment
• Use headset-based voice command systems to select products by lot number and product code
• Build safe, stable pallets, frequently exceeding 5 feet in height
• Manually shrink-wrap completed pallets; use shrink wrap machine to secure pallets
• Label and mark materials; record product quantities to maintain inventory accuracy
• Stage and deliver completed orders to shipping or staging areas
• Identify, report, and communicate damaged, missing, or incorrect product to inventory control or a supervisor
• Operate other warehouse machinery as assigned
• Work with team to meet productivity, quality, and safety goals

Shift: 6AM - 4:30PM - working 4x10

Schedule: Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat

Pay: $21/hr

As an General Warehouse Worker (Order Selector), you’ll operate an electric pallet jack and voice-directed technology to build customer orders, assemble pallets over 5 feet tall, and prepare products for shipment— while following all company and regulatory safety standards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate electric pallet jack ride-along equipment (single and double) to pick, build, and transport customer orders
• Perform required pre-use safety inspections on electric pallet jacks and other material handling equipment
• Use headset-based voice command systems to accurately select products by lot number and product code
• Build safe, stable pallets, frequently exceeding 5 feet in height , following proper stacking and safety guidelines
• Manually shrink-wrap completed pallets to secure product for transport
• Use a shrink wrap machine to securely wrap and stabilize completed pallets for transport
• Open boxes and containers as needed to access product
• Label and mark materials with identifying information
• Accurately record product quantities using site-specific systems to maintain inventory accuracy
• Stage and deliver completed orders to designated shipping or staging areas
• Identify, report, and communicate damaged, missing, or incorrect product to inventory control or a lead/supervisor

Additional Responsibilities

• Operate other warehouse machinery and material handling equipment as assigned
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet productivity, quality, and safety goals

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)

• Minimum of 1 year of experience operating electric pallet jack equipment (ride-along preferred; single and double)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, production-driven warehouse environment
• Basic math skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to understand instructions in the country’s official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics
• Ability to give voice commands in English (required for voice-directed picking systems)
• Ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs / 27 kgs (weight may vary by facility)
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends as needed
• Comfortable working around varying noise levels, which can be loud at times
