Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a General Warehouse Person to support order processing and shipping to stores. You will handle receiving, scanning, picking, packing, auditing and shipping tasks, ensuring inventory accuracy with RF scanning and proper entry into the system.

Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, safe DC, upholding quality standards, and working a flexible overtime-required schedule to meet store needs across the Walgreens network.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.

Job Summary

The General Warehouse Person is responsible for performing tasks involved in processing and shipping orders to the stores that service our customers.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsibilities may include but not limited to: receiving, scanning, picking, packing, auditing and shipping merchandise to the stores that service our customers. This may require at times to work in areas higher than ground level.
• Tracks all inbound and outbound items through radio frequency (RF) scanning to ensure accountability in inventory.
• Verifies orders and ensures entry into the inventory management system.
• Operates a clean and safe work environment, ensuring that all areas of the distribution center are well maintained, kept orderly and free of debris.
• Maintains quality standards set forth by distribution center management.

Basic Qualifications

• Willing to work a flexible shift including overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school/GED diploma preferred.
• At least two years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
• At least 6 months experience operating motorized material handling equipment.
• At least 6 months experience with radio frequency (RF) scanning
• At least 6 months experience entering and retrieving data in an inventory management system.
