Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a General Warehouse Person to support processing and shipping orders to our stores. You will handle receiving, scanning, picking, packing, auditing and shipping tasks to ensure timely deliveries to service locations.

In this role you will track items with RF scanning, verify orders in the inventory system and maintain a clean, safe distribution center environment while meeting quality standards set by management.

Qualifications

• Flexible shift including overtime as needed.
• Stand 8–10 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Push, pull, bend, grasp, daily stretches and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with RF scanning or inventory systems is a plus.

Job Summary:

The General Warehouse Person is responsible for performing tasks involved in processing and shipping orders to the stores that service our customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities may include but not limited to: receiving, scanning, picking, packing, auditing and shipping merchandise to the stores that service our customers. This may require at times to work in areas higher than ground level.


• Tracks all inbound and outbound items through radio frequency (RF) scanning to ensure accountability in inventory.


• Verifies orders and ensures entry into the inventory management system.


• Operates a clean and safe work environment, ensuring that all areas of the distribution center are well maintained, kept orderly and free of debris.


• Maintains quality standards set forth by distribution center management.

Basic Qualifications

• Willing to work a flexible shift including overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school/GED diploma preferred.


• At least two years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center.


• At least 6 months experience operating motorized material handling equipment.


• At least 6 months experience with radio frequency (RF) scanning


• At least 6 months experience entering and retrieving data in an inventory management system.

The actual hourly salary within this range that you will be offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience and other relevant factors. This role will remain open until filled.

Salary Range: $19.43 - $23.41 / Hourly
