Job summary

Tindall Corporation, a leading precast concrete manufacturer, is seeking a Warehouse Helper at our Spartanburg, SC location. You will issue supplies and tools at the gate, load carts for pours, and help receive shipments while keeping the warehouse organized.

The role supports daily production and safety standards. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and can work in a loud outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to work outdoors and in a loud environment.

Responsibilities

• Issue supplies and tools at gate according to requisition.
• Load tools and materials on carts for pours using consolidated bill of materials.
• Receive tool and material carts after pour; return leftover material to storage bins.
• Inspect torches daily, repair and service as necessary.
• Unload trucks and stock bins after arrival.
• Prepare material orders to be shipped for erection.
• Inspect, repair, clean, and assemble vise chucks and hold down devises.
• Repair all broken tools such as hoes, brooms, hammers, bolt cutters, wheel barrows, etc.
• Keep warehouse clean and orderly, sweep floor, etc.
• Assist with monthly inventory.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor.

Summary of Primary Functions

Issue supplies and tools at gate, load materials and tools on carts for pours, repair torches and fill bottles, repair damaged tools, receive incoming shipments to warehouse, unload trucks, clean and assemble vise chucks, keep warehouse clean.

Job Specifications Or Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical partsl and occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
