Job summary

DigiKey Electronics is seeking an Order Fulfillment Team Member to process orders from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Roles include picking parts, inspecting and packaging, and coordinating with Sales and Customer Service to resolve issues.

Starting pay ranges are available across day, evening, and 3-12 shifts with potential bonuses and relocation support for qualifying applicants. GED or HS diploma is required; English proficiency is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist between Sales, Customer Service, and PDC with product inquiries.
• Investigate shipment issues and update inventory accordingly.
• Perform inventory counts related to shortages or overages.

Full-Time Day Shift

$21.00 starting rate ($20.00 base pay and $1.00 allowance)

Full-Time Evening/Overnight Shift

$24.00 starting rate ($20.00 base pay, $1.00 allowance, and $3.00 shift differential)

Full-Time 3-12 Shift - $

23.34 starting rate ($20.00 base pay, $1.00 allowance, and $2.34 allowance for the 36 for 40 schedule)

SIGN-ON BONUS

Up to $5,000 bonus for qualifying roles. Paid in increments at completion of 4, 8 and 12 months of employment.

RELOCATION ASSISTANCE

Up to $5,000 relocation bonus available for qualifying positions and paid after providing proof of change in residency

Position Overview:

Be part of a fast paced world class distribution center. Order Fulfillment Team Members process customer orders from around the world from start to finish ensuring customer satisfaction and the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Pick parts in an assigned zone, quickly and accurately
• Inspect and receive product
• Prepackage product for bin/emergency stock
• Inspect quality of the product before prepackaging
• Perform packaging tasks which include:
  • Review pack lists to insure correct quantities
  • Verify correct parts have been picked
  • Box product and prepare for shipping
• Assemble cables and battery packs
• Cut tape and reel product into sale package quantities
• Shipping (Processing)
• Shipping Dock
• Act as a liaison between Sales, Customer Service, and PDC answering product questions
• Handle customer change-order requests when applicable
• Investigate customer complaints regarding shipment errors and update inventory stock levels
• Perform inventory counts as related to customer shortage or overage complaints and update system
• Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

Education

Physical Requirements:

• Regular and consistent attendance due to need to access physical equipment
• Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist and arm motion
• Capable of spending 8-10 hours walking/standing on concrete
• Regularly lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to shoulder height
• Ability to twist or bend and occasionally climb stairs
• Ability to reach with hands and arms above shoulder level

Compensation:

The starting base pay rate for this position is:

$20.00

This position may also be eligible for shift, skill, and/or team lead pay differentials that will be in addition to the starting pay rate.
