Job summary

DigiKey Electronics is seeking a reliable Order Fulfillment Team Member for its fast-paced distribution center in Thief River Falls, MN. You will process orders from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and high quality standards, in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities include picking parts, inspecting products, assembling and packing, and coordinating with Sales and Customer Service to resolve issues. English proficiency and basic computer skills are required; GED or HS Diploma is preferred.

Full-Time Day Shift

$21.00 starting rate ($20.00 base pay and $1.00 allowance)

Full-Time Evening/Overnight Shift

$24.00 starting rate ($20.00 base pay, $1.00 allowance, and $3.00 shift differential)

Full-Time 3-12 Shift – $

$23.34 starting rate ($20.00 base pay, $1.00 allowance, and $2.34 allowance for the 36 for 40 schedule)

SIGN-ON BONUS

Up to $5,000 bonus for qualifying roles. Paid in increments at completion of 4, 8 and 12 months of employment.

RELOCATION ASSISTANCE

Up to $5,000 relocation bonus available for qualifying positions and paid after providing proof of change in residency

Position Overview

Be part of a fast paced world class distribution center. Order Fulfillment Team Members process customer orders from around the world from start to finish ensuring customer satisfaction and the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Pick parts in an assigned zone, quickly and accurately
• Inspect and receive product
• Prepackage product for bin/emergency stock
• Inspect quality of the product before prepackaging
• Perform packaging tasks which include:
• Review pack lists to insure correct quantities
• Verify correct parts have been picked
• Box product and prepare for shipping
• Assemble cables and battery packs
• Cut tape and reel product into sale package quantities
• Shipping (Processing)
• Shipping Dock
• Act as a liaison between Sales, Customer Service, and PDC answering product questions
• Handle customer change-order requests when applicable
• Investigate customer complaints regarding shipment errors and update inventory stock levels
• Perform inventory counts as related to customer shortage or overage complaints and update system
• Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

Physical Requirements

• Regular and consistent attendance due to need to access physical equipment
• Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist and arm motion
• Capable of spending 8-10 hours walking/standing on concrete
• Regularly lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to shoulder height
• Ability to twist or bend and occasionally climb stairs
• Ability to reach with hands and arms above shoulder level

Compensation

The starting base pay rate for this position is: $20.00

This position may also be eligible for shift, skill, and/or team lead pay differentials that will be in addition to the starting pay rate.
