Description

Summary: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position:

Essential Functions:

1. Ability to communicate well with internal customers and management.
2. Ability to follow detailed instructions and be detail-oriented.
3. Ability to use electronic devices such as tablets, radios, scanners, etc.
4. Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract quickly and accurately.
5. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and support safety programs.
6. Able to comprehend oral and written communication to read labels, tickets, and product documentation.
7. Become proficient with Warehouse Management Systems, RF, and Voice-directed picking.
8. Perform assigned general housekeeping duties.
9. Report all accidents, injuries, near misses, and hazardous conditions immediately to management.
10. Process inbound and outbound shipments as needed.
11. Assist in other facets of production and work at different workstations as needed.
12. Conduct work safely and adhere to safety methods.
13. Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
14. Be dependable and flexible for work in other production areas.
15. Meet production standards within required time frames.
16. Demonstrate quality and accuracy in material handling.
17. Move products manually or with pallet jacks to/from production areas.
18. Move materials to and from docks, trucks, storage, and processing areas.
19. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

One year of general warehouse/material handling experience preferred but not necessary.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand and walk up to 8-10 hours daily.
• Reach repeatedly.
• Push/pull up to 25 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
• Lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs occasionally.

• Compensation from $16.50 to $18.00 per hour based on skills and experience.
