Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Bolingbrook, IL is hiring full-time Warehouse Associates. You will handle orders, load/unload trailers, and operate basic warehouse equipment. The role offers on-the-job training, weekly pay, and benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k).

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least six months of related warehouse experience; forklift operation and WMS data entry are involved. Shift: 2:30pm–11:00pm, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• Ability to read, perform basic math, and follow safety procedures.
• Powered industrial truck certification is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers with accurate scanning.
• Perform picking, packing and material moves per procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping and support training for dock staff.
• Ensure facility security at end of shift and report issues.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $20 per hour ($19/hr + $1 shift pay)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 2:30pm - 11:00pm

Products Being Handled: Engine and HVAC parts

• Equipment: Walkie rider

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Six months of related warehouse experience required
• One (1) year or more related warehouse experience preferred
• Learn to operate powered industrial truck(s), such as: stand-up and sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, etc., including how to operate and maintain (change battery, recognize common mechanical issues) intermediate required
• May be required to operate manual and/or automated other warehouse/manufacturing equipment (such as a packaging line) intermediate preferred
• Powered industrial truck certification
• Ability to read, do basic mathematics in English for the purpose of safety, work instructions, policies, etc
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Ability to input data into the WMS computer system (s) in use
• Work overtime as assigned
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Ability to work independently and as member of a team
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized with excellent time management skills
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers. Ensure all scanning is completed correctly. Help train dock employees on new procedures. Ensure facility is secure at end of shift; investigate/resolve scanning issues and housekeeping. Perform picking and packing duties. Check for evidence of product or container damage
• Perform the assigned tasks as described in the location's policies and procedures standards to include handling of materials within associated logical transactions
• Perform material moves with associated physical/logical transactions as required
• Participate in workgroup and other team activities for the purpose of self improvement and improving warehouse operations and related business functions
• Perform housekeeping duties for assigned area
• Performs other duties as assigned
