Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform facilities and grounds maintenance and janitorial tasks as assigned.
  • Assist with construction/woodworking projects in the Carpentry Shop.
  • Operate outdoor power equipment (lawn mower, trimmer, leaf blower, etc.).
  • Help with mulching, weed pulling, planting and landscaping duties.
  • Support the carpentry crew with building boxes, decks, porches, and other projects.

This position requires experience in operating outdoor power equipment such as lawn mower, string trimmer, hedge trimmer, leaf blower etc. and perform other duties such as pulling weeds, mulching, shoveling and raking as well as watering grass and flower beds. This position will be assigned to the Carpentry Shop, and the applicant should have basic knowledge of hand tools. Other duties include assisting the carpenter shop with various construction and woodworking projects, such as building wooden boxes, decks, and porches etc. The primary role is to support the crew. The position is exposed to heat, cold and dust. The position requires physical effort as found in cleaning and general land scaping maintenance.
