Job summary

TPC Sugarloaf is hiring a General Utility/Dishwasher in Duluth, GA to maintain clean facilities and support the Food & Beverage team. Duties include keeping back-of-house areas sanitary, assisting cooks and the Executive Chef, and helping with buffet setup.

The role requires a high school diploma and physical stamina to stand and lift up to 25 pounds, with shifts based on business levels.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent education is required.
Must be able to stand, lift up to 25 pounds; able to perform heavy cleaning duties.
Flexibility to work shifts based on business levels.

Responsibilities

Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in employee changing room/restrooms, and back-of-the-house employee areas, as well as the elevator, dumpster and receiving area.
Operate the dish machine and related equipment safely; set up and break down the dishwashing area.
Assist cooks and the Executive Chef in the preparation of food as needed.
Set up and break down buffet tables and theme decorations.
Notify supervisor of any malfunctions and ensure supplies for the dish machine are available.
Assist in storing groceries and supplies and keeping supplies stocked.
Ensure proper set up and operation of three compartment sink, garbage disposer and chemical dispensing systems.
Adhere to safety and health regulations.

General Utility/Dishwasher

Responsibilities and duties include:

Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in employee changing room/restrooms, and back-of-the-house employee areas, as well as the elevator, dumpster and receiving area
Empty trash cans from dish room, kitchen and storeroom into appropriate refuge receptacles on a regular basis, ensuring correct supervision for recyclable items
Remove empty boxes from kitchen and storage areas on a regular basis to dumpster area
Keep equipment, floor, and work areas clean, free of slip, trip and fall hazards and in good working order at all times
Clean and sanitize all dishes, pots, pans and utensils in accordance to local guidelines, to ensure proper supply levels to operate Food & Beverage Department efficiently
Assist in the storing of grocery and supply items
Assume responsibility for proper set up and operation of the dish machine, three compartment sink, garbage disposer and chemical dispensing systems
Notify supervisor of any malfunctions
Assume responsibility for supplies for the dish machine and notify supervisor of any instances where there would no product on hand
Assist cooks and the Executive Chef in the preparation of food as needed
Set-up and break-down buffet tables and theme decorations which may include ice displays
Special projects or other duties as assigned
