Job summary

Frederick Health Medical Group (FHMG) is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urologist to join our growing urology program. Qualifications

• Board certified or board-eligible in urology.
• Active Maryland license (or ability to obtain).
• Current DEA license and Maryland CDS license.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or approved provider).
• Unrestricted license with no history of suspension or revocation.
• Eligible for participation with all payers.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and longitudinal management of patients with urologic conditions.
• Provide medical and surgical management of common and complex urologic disorders.
• Perform office-based urologic procedures and diagnostic services.
• Perform inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures within the physician’s training and scope of practice.
• Provide inpatient consultation and participate in urologic call coverage.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians, hospitalists, emergency medicine physicians, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists to coordinate patient-centered care.
• Work with APPs and clinical staff to optimize patient access and continuity of care.
• Participate in quality improvement, care standardization, and patient safety initiatives.
• Support growth and development of urology services within Frederick Health.
• Participate in coverage models that ensure efficient and reliable urologic services.

This opportunity is ideal for a urologist seeking strong earning potential, an established referral base, access to advanced surgical resources, and the opportunity to help shape the continued growth of urologic services within a physician-led health system. Frederick is a community of approximately 290,000 and is located less than 1-hour from both Washington, D.C. and Baltimore. Frederick is the second largest city in Maryland and is a family-oriented community that has highly ranked public and private schools. About The Role

This position offers the opportunity to practice comprehensive general urology within a well-supported and growing program. The successful candidate will care for a broad spectrum of urologic conditions while working alongside experienced physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and other clinical team members. Physicians have access to hospital, ambulatory, procedural, diagnostic, and surgical resources necessary to provide comprehensive urologic care.
