Job description

Overview

Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy. Candidates must pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications, and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.

Responsibilities

Perform repair tasks related to the building shell and all integrated building systems.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Maintain systems as required by regulatory agencies.
Respond to work orders and service requests in a timely and efficient manner, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance.
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and system malfunctions, identifying root causes and recommending appropriate solutions.
Collaborate with other stakeholders and outside vendors.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and labor hours.
Manage stock, inventory, and order materials.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following established procedures for hazardous materials handling and disposal.

Qualifications
