1-800 WATER DAMAGE of McKinney and Frisco is looking for a motivated General Tech to join our growing restoration crew. You will play a vital part in helping homeowners and businesses recover from water, fire, mold, sewer and other property damage.

Qualifications

• No prior restoration experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Strong work ethic with a positive, team-first attitude.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-friendly demeanor.
• IICRC certification a plus, but not required - opportunity to advance and become certified!!

Responsibilities

• Assist with water damage mitigation, drying, and extraction on residential and commercial job sites
• Assist with setting up, monitoring, and breaking down drying equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, moisture meters and other items/tools
• Perform demolition tasks such as removing damaged drywall, flooring, and insulation (can also include tile, framing, cabinets, stairs, etc)
• Load, unload, and maintain restoration equipment and company vehicles (solo or assisting other team members)
• Follow safety protocols and industry standards on every job site (must be able to read and understand SOPs)
• Assist lead technicians with mold remediation and fire/smoke cleanup as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment on all job sites

About the Role:

1-800 WATER DAMAGE of McKinney and Frisco is looking for a motivated General Tech team member to join our growing restoration crew! This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a vital part in helping homeowners and businesses recover from water, fire, mold, sewer and other property damage.
