Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a General Surgery Nurse Practitioner for inpatient coverage in Atlanta, GA. StartDate ASAP with 90-day credentialing window. In this assignment you will handle liver and pancreas surgical APP cases, under the supervision of physicians and in collaboration with the surgical team.

The position requires board certification, active Georgia license and DEA, plus BLS and ATLS. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with malpractice insurance and comprehensive

Qualifications

• Board-certified in surgical specialty (General Surgery NP).
• Active Georgia license required.
• Active Georgia DEA license required.
• BLS and ATLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient surgical APP coverage for liver and pancreas cases.
• Collaborate with surgical team to manage perioperative care.
• Follow credentialing and hospital policies for assignments.

• Certifications Required: Must be Board Certified, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
• Licensure Required: Must have an active Georgia License and an active Georgia Drug Enforcement Administration License (DEA)
