Opportunity Details

IU Health Medical Group East Region has an opening for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established General Surgery team as the APP Team Lead. The provider will work at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN.

Responsibilities

• Manage inpatient trauma and acute surgical patients
• Assist with APP interviews, onboarding, orientation, scheduling, and performance management
• Conduct monthly rounding on APPs
• Serve as the first point of contact for clinical concerns

Qualifications

• Master's Degree required
• Board Certified as ACNP, FNP, or PA
• Licensed or license eligible in Indiana
• At least 1 year of inpatient APP experience, ideally in Hospitalist or Surgery
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills aligned with IU Health values
