Overview

IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital is offering an opportunity for a Certified Nurse Midwife to develop a new midwife patient base in Muncie, IN. This role provides the chance to work in a multidisciplinary, collaborative, and supportive practice environment, with full scope midwifery in both outpatient and inpatient settings. You will have the opportunity to build your own patient panel and deliver your own patients.

• Full-time employment in both inpatient and outpatient settings at a newly opened clinic and Mother-Baby unit
• Care for a diverse patient population with a range of women's health services including obstetrics, gynecology, and uro-gynecology
• Main responsibilities include:
• Vaginal deliveries
• Prenatal, antepartum, and postpartum care
• Daytime L&D coverage

Qualifications

• Master's degree required
• Board Eligible/Certified (BE/BC)
• At least 2 years of CNM experience required
• Strong L&D or OBGYN RN background required
• Critical thinking, strong communication skills, team player
